I take off my jacket. It's been a long day, and I'm thinking it might take my all night to finish this fucking report.

After I stand and kick off my shoes, I turn to look out at the vibrant city. In a few hours, the lights will glitter like gold and silver on the skyline.

The waving catches my attention first, then I notice his smile. His building is closer than I ever noticed before, and soon, we're flirting as much as two people closed off by glass can. My hands press against the warm glass, and I get an idea.

Watching his face fall, I smile and shake my head before taking a step back; I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm leaving, but I'm just stripping off my dress shirt to reveal the lace beneath. Before I can regain my senses and stop myself, I press my whole upper body into the warmth. It radiates through me and I imagine it's his hands, not the unfeeling glass.

When I open my eyes again, his shirt is undone, tie loose, and he has his phone number written on a piece of glass pressed on his side of the glass.
